Dr. Elizabeth Caldwell,
Veterinarian

Dr. Elizabeth Caldwell is a 2008 graduate from Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. She is a native of Signal Mountain, TN, outside of Chattanooga. She and her family moved to Knoxville in 2012, where they have a small farm with horses, sheep, cows, and a few cats and dogs. She enjoys spending time with her family. Her hobbies include hiking, camping, and competing her Quarter Horse in eventing and dressage.

Dr. Caldwell looks forward to serving as your veterinarian in Fountain City and surrounding areas.

Dr. Liz DeVoe,
Veterinarian

Dr. Liz DeVoe graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine in 2017. She was raised just a short distance outside of Knoxville in Vonore. After a few years of practicing in North Carolina, she has settled back here with her husband, four cats, and dog. In her free time, she loves having backyard fires with her friends, playing board games, and doing home improvement projects.

Manager

Karen is originally from New York and spent 15 years in Florida before settling in Knoxville in 2006. She has been in the management field for over 30 years and has been a Veterinary Practice Manager since 2010. Her hobbies include gardening, cooking, traveling, and home remodeling. She also enjoys spending time with her daughter and husband. Karen has a special love for pit bulls and currently lives with two rescues, Pebbles and Oliver, and two cats.

Veterinary Assistant

Deanna started working kennels here in 2013 and now has been hired full time to help as a receptionist and veterinary assistant. Deanna has lived in Knoxville her whole life and enjoys being with friends, family, and her doggo, a Bernese Mountain dog mix, Bear. Deanna always knew she would work with animals. Deanna is starting her adventure to become a licensed veterinary technician through Saint Petersburg College.

From landscaping to reception, Kaylin does just about everything here at Companion Animal Hospital, but she primarily works as a veterinary assistant. She is also doing most of the renovations and working countless hours to bring bright new life to our new building. Kaylin has mostly worked with exotics and horses up until now and worked the last four years as a zookeeper.

When she isn't working, Kaylin's hobbies including hiking, kayaking, home improvement, and her biggest love of all, horses. She primarily trains jumpers but is starting down the adventurous path of cross country. She shares her life with her loving husband, two pitbulls, two cats (one of whom is blind and has special needs), multiple reptiles, fish, and a horse.

She has a heart for making every animal she meets feel loved and safe, no matter its size or species. Outside of work, Sarah enjoys going on spontaneous adventures and having game nights with her friends.

She has a tuxedo cat named Pippin who is spoiled beyond belief. She loves helping others and enjoys getting to know clients and pets, as well.
